This was an amazing General Audition process. Over the last two days we’ve heard some powerhouse voices, some soulful sounds, and seen some sick dance work. Daannnggg…..!

So, once again, thank you.

At this stage we need to narrow our focus a little bit. As I said to the Generals group tonight, many of the folks who won’t see their name below are missing, not because they failed in any way…but rather because some other folks who came in were that freaking good, or there was something singular that set those called back apart. Chances are someone isn't listed below because at this particular moment in their journey, there’s something in their work, their technique, or their confidence level that has room to grow. Welcome to having to audition against a bigger pool of talented, passionate artists…it’s not easy, but let it push you onward to grow and strengthen your practice. For pretty much all of you, the tools are there; it’s just you need time to sharpen them. I look forward to being with you on that journey.

Remember, folks on the Callback list below, the plan for tomorrow, as per the Audition Packet, is:

9/12: LARGE VOCAL CALLBACK
     400p-600p: Group Vocal Work in the Choir Room/Rm. 105
     -Workers: Learn song (‘Chant’) with Vocal Director, sing in combination AND solo
     -Fates: Basses and Tenors released; Altos/Tenors repeat process with Treble-voiced song (to be 

     announced at Callback)
