In ways I can’t begin to describe, thank you! This has been an amazing experience. Humbling to be sure…and you have my most heartfelt thanks for making this an amazing week. One of the rarest things a director at this level gets to do is choose from a group of fully-capable performers to craft a truly unique and potentially fully-to-vision piece of theatre. So few people who came in this week were so early in their artistic journey that this show was beyond their skills at the moment. We all have things that are just too challenging for where we are at...welcome to being human. The remaining vast majority of people auditioning ranged anywhere from capable to truly breathtaking. We were able to take from the folks who gave their all for us a truly exciting, totally unique vision of the show that will do our community, our company, and ourselves proud.
